GSM stands for "Grams per Square Meter."
It is a standard unit of measurement used to express the basis weight of paper and other sheet materials, including some types of flexible packaging.

Paper Bag: A typical single-use paper grocery bag or a smaller retail bag is often made from Kraft paper in the range of 70 GSM to 100 GSM.

Note Card: They are typically made from a heavier cardstock, often in the range of 200 GSM to 300 GSM or even higher.

Cardboard: Cardboard, used for boxes and packaging, is significantly thicker and heavier than standard paper. Typically 200 GSM and upwards to 400-500 GSM.
